The rental includes...

 - Water, electricity and heating and oak logs from sustainable sources for your wood burning stove should you wish to use it;

 - all bed, bathroom and kitchen linen which will be changed before your arrival and again when you leave. For lets of more than one week a complete change of linen will be supplied every seven days. We do not, however, supply towels for the pool and ask you not to use the bath towels provided at the poolside;

 - a selection of basic cleaning products;

 - a starter pack including charcoal for the BBQ, toilet paper, kitchen roll, paper napkins, cling film, kitchen foil, bin bags, plastic bags for sandwiches, basic dishwasher and washing machine products and dishwashing liquid ... enough to keep you going until such time as you can get to the supermarket;

 - the house will also be cleaned before and after your stay. Please note that guests are expected to leave the cottage in the state of cleanliness in which they found it on arrival. Should that not be the case there will be an additional cleaning charge of 40 euros deducted from your refundable Security Deposit;

 - and all you need for a welcome cup of real coffee or tea on arrival plus, of course, your Welcome Pack  ...

Length of stay

You can rent the gîtes for whole weeks from Saturday to Saturday in the summer season. We ask that our guests arrive at the house after 4.00 pm on the Saturday afternoon and leave by 10.00 am on the Saturday morning. This allows us sufficient time to clean the house, change the bedding and towels and get the house ready for the next guests.

In the winter months we operate flexible starting dates and rent also for week-end or mid-week Mini-Breaks. Please contact us for tariffs for these.

Animals

We are animal lovers but pets are not normally permitted at La Grange des Près. However, we will consider making an exception for a Guide dog or similar working dog. If you wish to bring such a dog please contact us.

Smoking

The gîtes are considered to be public areas under French law ... therefore smoking is not permitted inside them. Ash trays are supplied - to be used in the private garden area only, please.

The Pool 

Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk - please ensure that children under the age of 16 are supervised at all times. For obvious safety reasons we ask our guests  not take glasses to the pool - plastic tumblers only please!

Booking your gîte  

After consulting our Rates (including Special Offers) and Avalability pages to reserve your gîte please contact us initially by telephone or email. It will then be reserved provisionally for seven days pending reception of a completed Booking Form and 25% non-refundable deposit. (For Contact Us and Booking Form links please see menu above). On receipt we will confirm your reservation by e-mail. Non-reception of deposit within seven days will result in the cancellation of your provisional booking. The balance is payable 8 calender weeks prior to your arrival date. If booking within this eight week period the full cost is to be paid at the time of booking.

Means of payment

We accept cheques in pounds sterling or euros and direct bank transfers either into our French bank account in euros or our British bank account in pounds sterling. Payment can also be made by credit card using the secure server of www.paypal.com You will need to follow the instructions and make payment to our e-mail address. Should, however, you choose this method of making the payment we ask you to add the 4.5% Paypal charges to the amount.

Cancellation

In the event of your having to cancel your reservation after paying the initial deposit we shall make every attempt to re-book the accommodation. If we are unable to do so then the deposit will remain non-refundable. If, however, we are succesful in re-booking we shall return your deposit to you in full.

Security deposit

A refundable Security Deposit of £125/€140 against damage/breakages/supplementary cleaning is payable on arrival. This can either be in the form of a cheque (pounds sterling or euros) or cash (euros). Prior to your departure the gite will be checked with you, by us, and the cost of any breakages/damage/supplementary cleaning deducted from the deposit.

When using our Gites please respect the furniture and fittings - we have made every attempt to provide pretty and comfortable gites with quality furnishings but need your help to keep them in good condition for future guests - thank you!!
