Situated in the unspoiled and tranquil southern Loire Valley, five minutes from Montrésor and twenty minutes from Loches, La Grange des Prés has two family gîtes that have been thoughtfully and tastefully renovated to a high standard. Although retaining the original character features of the gîtes we have added fully equipped modern kitchens, shower rooms and heating throughout to provide luxurious, contemporary, self-catering accommodation.

Both la Chouette and l'Hibou have an individual PRIVATE GARDEN AREA with outdoor dining table, chairs and a barbeque.

Guests in both gîtes have access to the LUXURY HEATED SWIMMING POOL with it's loungers and, for your security, lockable cover. The garden area adjoining it which may be used for garden ball games or boules.

Both gites have INTERNET access via WiFi. 

We try to ensure that your every need is catered for; all bed linen, towels, basic cleaning and kitchen materials, paper products, charcoal for the BBQ - and oak logs during the cooler months - are included at no extra cost. Water, cleaning and electricity are also included in the price. Additional facilities for infants and children e.g. cots, highchairs and safety gates can be supplied on request.

On arrival all guests receive a WELCOME PACK of local produce.

We also offer a FIRST SHOP service at no additional cost. Please ask for details when you book. 

Should you wish we would be happy to arrange BIKE HIRE and their delivery at La Grange des Près prior to your arrival if necessary.

We both speak fluent French having lived and worked in France for many years and are happy to help you with any arrangements that you might wish to make during your stay with us. 

German, Hungarian and Hebrew also spoken (albeit - all three rustily!).
